Testimonials

Your knowledge and wisdom is unparalleled and so helpful. I would recommend your services to anyone that is thinking about making a career change, in transition, or exploring for the first time. This is so timely and so thankful for you imparting your intellect to myself.

The biggest takeaway from the presentation was your advising to tell the story when anyone, primarily an interviewer asks ‘Tell me about yourself’ or ‘Tell me your greatest strength’. I will remember to reply with how I helped solve a problem or explain a time I was most proud of myself, so it reflects who I say I am.

It was great taking your seminar last night, I really enjoyed it. I also really appreciate you taking the extra time to talk about my career outlook and interests. As you requested, I took the time to jot down my top career paths and have attached them below. Thanks again and I look forward to continuing to connect with you and hopefully with your guidance we can find the right job for me!

I’ve attended many coaching and professional skill development workshops over the course of my career. I was expecting more of the same when I signed up for a Corcoran seminar earlier this year. Boy was I mistaken! The session was replete with out-of-the-box ideas and networking strategies that I had never heard of or considered. Best of all, instead of just theoretical ideas, I left with a real plan that has practical and measurable steps to achieve my goals. I also appreciated the time John Corcoran took to answer questions and speak one-on-one afterwards. It was clear to me that he has a passion for his work and genuinely wants his students to succeed.

Using our communication strategy, she was able to decline an offer in favor of the better offer which prompted that organization to match the pay of the first so she truly had two offers to choose from. People like their own ideas.”

What better way to enter senior year than knowing you have a great job waiting for you? C.L. returned home from college after his junior year to learn that the internship he was promised was no longer available due to bureaucracy. He attended our seminar on a Wednesday in May, and applied our networking technique and met to get advice from a contact the next day. That employer said why don’t you come work for us and made him an offer right on the spot. A week before completing his summer internship, C.L. received an envelope with a more than competitive offer for employment upon graduation.
